PyCForge 1.3.35 — Runtime text parsing coverage
Verified on Linux, 2026-10-18

DELIVERED COVERAGE
Six additional Runtime string methods:
- rsplit: split from the right with a string separator or Unicode whitespace,
maxsplit limits and positional/keyword binding. Result order stays left-to-right.
- splitlines: Python's Unicode line boundaries, CRLF pairing, optional keepends,
empty-input and terminal-line handling. keepends uses supported value truth.
- partition and rpartition: first/last separator, returning a three-item tuple.
- removeprefix and removesuffix: remove exactly one matching affix, not a set of
characters; preserve empty and unmatched values.

Valid UTF-8, multibyte characters, embedded NUL, overlapping separators, bound
methods, expanded calls, imported helpers and exception recovery are covered.
Known invalid method shapes can reject during conversion; dynamically invalid
calls report checked TypeError/ValueError. These operations do not add regex,
Unicode normalization, bytes strings or custom index/truth protocols.

Scanning and byte comparisons use the existing work budget. Repeated near-match
searches can be quadratic but remain budget-checked. Results use the existing
arena; allocation/work exhaustion remains terminal. Explicit idle-boundary
collection can retain result graphs; collection does not become automatic.
Runtime remains the separately identified development-preview backend. Typed
contracts and proofs are unchanged. Regenerate C to use the expanded helpers.

VERIFICATION
- 35 new tests passed, including over 2,800 individual method comparisons in
matrices and three deterministic seeded Unicode/NUL workloads.
- 129 existing conversion regression tests passed, covering everyday
builtins/formatting, Runtime values, output/provenance validation, collection,
exception cleanup and all 48 text-update tests from 1.3.34.
- 153 UI/version/Help tests passed. Five historical checkpoint tests skipped
because sealed predecessor fixture inputs are unavailable. Scan freshness and
  failed-conversion diagnostics navigation passed.
- Across source runs: 317 distinct tests passed, 5 skipped,
zero unresolved failures. This is an upgrade-focused run, not a new audit of
the entire historical test inventory. JUnit subtests are not inflated into
  separate top-level test counts.
- Five native checks passed AddressSanitizer and UBSan: seeded workloads,
imported parser/file workflow and an allocator-failure sweep with retained
result collection. LeakSanitizer remains disabled because this host's tracing
environment does not support it. Explicit allocation accounting and context
cleanup assertions passed; no LeakSanitizer acceptance is claimed.
- A fresh wheel installation passed 43 UI/Help/scan/diagnostics checks and 13
native text-parsing checks. All 869 installed app files match the wheel.
Two source-tree-only packaging assertions were excluded from the installed
test selection; they passed against source, with distribution verification
  performed independently.
- Host native compiler: GCC 13.3.0. Python reference: 3.12.14.
Native Windows acceptance has not been run for this release.

HTML HELP AND UI
All 27 Help pages opened under Qt. The documentation verifier exercised 70 Python
examples (48 Runtime and 22 Typed native comparisons), five API examples, four
C callers, two module bundles, and three retained README examples. Both new
parsing examples matched their stated output and CPython; the existing file
update example now uses splitlines directly. Search terms include splitlines,
rsplit, partition/rpartition and prefix/suffix removal. The new section was
visually inspected in the existing matte Help interface.

README, UI implementation, theme, icons, scanner, build engine, dependencies and
Typed conversion engines remain unchanged. HTML Help, Runtime implementation,
active metadata and release/specification records are updated.

GENERATED C SIZE WITNESS
For the same minimal Runtime main returning zero:
  v1.3.34: 410,767 UTF-8 bytes
  v1.3.35: 416,821 UTF-8 bytes
  Increase: 6,054 bytes (1.474%)
This measures generated C text only, not executable size, memory use or speed.

PACKAGING
Wheel verified against source: 879 members, 56 icons/504 PNG assets, pure Python,
unchanged five runtime dependencies. The source archive is built from this
verified tree and undergoes archive verification after this report is included.
No package publication was performed.
