Neither preview saves changes. Refresh reads the configured file after a copy through your existing file access. Filenames never select a server path.
Accept saves this exact reviewed profile. For uploads, it also replaces the managed source copy. If either file changes during review, the action is refused. Reviews expire after five minutes.
No scanner restart or new connection is needed. A daemon reload is separate from saving the accepted profile. Web, TUI and Home Assistant displays use only the daemon’s accepted revision; an edited source is never adopted until this reviewed workflow accepts and reloads it.
