Targets

Upload a CSV with ra,dec in ICRS degrees, or x,y in zero-based parent pixels. An id column is optional; extra columns are preserved as target metadata. Import replaces the current target list.

Images & processing

Each image is opened once for all targets. Existing local inputs are never deleted.

Working directory

Defaults to the directory supplied with --workspace, or the folder where you launched Gladius. Relative paths resolve here; this is editable.

YAML

The preview includes defaults and absolute paths. Download it to reuse the run settings, or load an existing YAML file to edit them.

Load test queries MAST metadata for one real calibrated image; it downloads nothing until Make. Archive access may require MAST_API_TOKEN.

MAST authentication

First open MAST API tokens, sign in with your STScI account, create a token, and copy it. A token identifies your account; restricted observations still require permission for that account. Run gladius token in the directory passed to gladius gui --workspace (the launch folder by default). Enter your token at the hidden prompt to save it in .env, then restart the GUI server. You can also create that file manually with MAST_API_TOKEN=your_token_here. Reloading the tab is not enough. Changing Working directory above does not load another .env file. Existing shell variables take precedence. Keep the token out of YAML and Git; GitHub Actions secrets are separate from this local file.
