“Move to…” — letting the researcher overrule the machine’s grouping

The pipeline’s sections and themes are a draft. This is the gesture that lets a researcher re-file a quote where it belongs — and, per the write path already shipped, have it stick across every re-analysis. Poke at it, then flip the three open decisions on the right.

Pinned quotes a re-analysis left with no home (already shipped, read-only). Rescuing one is the same “Move to…” gesture — this mock makes the floor a live source.

The write path is settled; these three UX calls are yours. Flip a switch and the stage updates live.

1. Where the gesture lives

Lean: reveal on hover — chrome only for the exception. Bulk always uses the selection bar (select a card).

2. How a move confirms

Lean: quiet in-place move + a spoken announce, no toast (native idiom). “Undo” shown here for comparison.

3. Can you un-place a quote?

Lean: targets only (no backend change). “Allow” adds an Uncategorised row to the picker.

Drag-and-drop — deferred. Send-to is the accessible baseline and the same path a future “this looks like a better fit — move it?” suggestion would call.
