smooth.AutoADAM.nparam

property AutoADAM.nparam: float

Return number of estimated parameters.

Mirrors R’s nparam.smooth (R/methods.R:350), which returns the total of the estimated row of the parameters table — the distribution scale included, and the same value R’s logLik reports as its degrees of freedom (R/methods.R:322). For a combination this is the IC-weighted average, so the value can be fractional.

Returns:

Number of parameters estimated during optimization, scale included.

Return type:

float

Raises:

ValueError – If the model has not been fitted yet.

Examples

>>> model = ADAM(model="AAN")
>>> model.fit(y)
>>> k = model.nparam
