Discussion lens: what gives way as the window narrows. The lens is a pair, guide on the left and the conversation on the right, so the order is: 1 the projects column folds, 2 the navigator narrows to 200 px, 3 the conversation narrows to its 368 px floor, 4 only then does the navigator fold, and the toolbar's list button (new for this lens, labelled Discussion guide) brings it back. The As planned / As asked tabs sit on top of the navigator, so they come and go with what they reorder, and the navigator's grey and keyline run to the top of the page: the bar over the conversation no longer spans it. Drag the slider or pick a width. Click the list button, or press ⌥⌘L, to toggle. Synthetic study.

[00:31]Walk me through a normal weekday morning, from when you wake up.
[00:44]“Kettle on first, always. The machine takes a while to warm up, so I do that while I’m still half asleep.”
[03:12]Who else in the house drinks coffee?
[03:18]“My partner, but only at weekends. During the week it’s just me, so I make one cup and that’s it.”
[06:40]How did you end up choosing that machine?
[06:52]“Honestly, it was on offer. I read a couple of reviews but mostly it fitted under the cupboard.”
