Commentary

Generated by experiments/screen-text/screens_board.py from three real sessions (one on the UK site, one on the German site, one on an iPad). A quote is placed on a screen by its timecode, then pinned to one line of text on that screen when it shares a run of words with it, or failing that when a multilingual sentence model says they mean the same thing. The heading is the page's own tallest line of text near the top; the address under it is the screen's key.

Stickies are the shipped quote card (blockquote.quote-card, person badge, sentiment badge) at label size. At rest they float on --bn-colour-shadow; hovering one gives it the shipped .bn-focused treatment and dims the rest. When a column's cards would run past the bottom of the screengrab they stack, each showing its timecode and first line, so every quote stays on the screen it was said about. The blue on words is an accent tint at 15%, 30% when the card is focused; the boxes on the screen are 6% and 15%. All three percentages are ones the theme already mixes.

Below the screengrab is everything else said while this screen was up: quotes that matched no element by words or meaning, and, on a shared screen, the other participants' pinned quotes whose element could not be found on this participant's page. They have no heading and no different treatment: same card, same size, same shadow, same gutter, same way of coming to the front. Every quote placed on the screen appears exactly once, pinned or below.

Resize the window: from 1100px of stage (--bn-breakpoint-content) quotes sit either side, by which half of the page their element is in; below it they all go right. ← → flips participant on a shared screen, ↑ ↓ moves between screens. Dashed means another participant's quote carried onto this screengrab because its element was matched on both pages.
