Privacy
Presidium Shape Studio runs entirely on your computer. It has no account, no telemetry, no analytics and no server of its own.
What leaves your computer
- Model and runtime downloads, only when you ask for them and approve the size: the studio fetches the pinned files from their original hosts (Hugging Face for TripoSR and TRELLIS, GitHub Releases for the background-removal models, download.pytorch.org for the CUDA build of PyTorch) and verifies their SHA-256. Those hosts see an ordinary download request from your IP address, as any browser download would.
- The 3D viewer script (model-viewer, Apache-2.0) is loaded from the jsdelivr CDN at a pinned version when you open the gallery; jsdelivr sees that request. Without it the gallery shows the turntable PNG rendered locally.
Nothing else connects anywhere. Your pictures, meshes, settings and job history stay in the studio's data folder on your disk (%LOCALAPPDATA%\shapestudio on Windows) and are yours to delete.
The MCP server
When an agent (Claude, Cursor, VS Code or another MCP client) uses the studio, that client decides what it sends to its own model provider; the studio itself only reads and writes files on your machine.
