texlate — third-party bundled assets
====================================

`src/texlate/compile/fixloop/vendor/` ships two kinds of assets used by the
compile-fix loop to rescue papers whose sources reference off-CTAN or
legacy journal macro packages:

vendor/files/ — unmodified third-party journal styles, each distributed
under its own license as published on CTAN / by the journal:

  - aastex.cls, aastex62.cls      AAS Journals author kit (AAS / LPPL-style terms)
  - emulateapj.sty, emulateapj5.sty ApJ-look style (derived from AAS preprint styles)
  - elsart.cls                    Elsevier article class
  - iopart.cls, iopart10.clo, iopart12.clo, iopams.sty  IOP Publishing author kit
  - psfig.sty                     © 1993 Trevor J. Darrell

These are bundled solely as fallbacks for compiling third-party arXiv
sources that already target these classes. They are not modified by
texlate and are not part of texlate's own code.

vendor/stubs/ — clean-room minimal compatibility shims written by the
texlate project (Apache-2.0). The upstream packages they stand in for
(JHEP/JINST author kits, Springer svjour3, imsart, espcrc, tcilatex,
binhex, slashbox, diagrams, axodraw, texsort, citesort, eqsecnum,
apjfonts, svglov3) have licenses that do NOT permit redistribution;
only the minimal macro surface needed to compile affected papers is
reimplemented here. See the header comment in each stub file.

Web bundle — the built SPA (`web/dist`, produced by `npm run build`)
includes pdf.js viewer assets (Apache-2.0) and other npm dependencies;
its own `THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt` is generated alongside the bundle.
