NetCodex

Local-first by design

This tool runs locally

NetCodex reads your Codex, Claude Code, Copilot, Cline, Cursor, Gemini CLI and other agent conversation stores on your own machine and writes Markdown exports there. Transcripts never leave your computer, so the export workspace only runs next to the local CLI.

1. Install

Requires Python 3.12+ with pipx or uv. Leave out [ui] for the command line only.

$ pipx install "netcodex-agent-exporter[ui]"
# or
$ uv tool install "netcodex-agent-exporter[ui]"

2. Open the local workspace

Opens the Conversation export desk in your browser, served from 127.0.0.1 on your machine. Upload JSONL, SQLite or ZIP files, or pick a detected local tool, then preview and export Markdown, Quarkdown or PDF.

$ netcodex ui

3. Or use the command line

$ netcodex sources
$ netcodex export --all --out exports
$ netcodex watch --out exports --interval 60
