One-time setup: give the app a Google service account
The app reads and writes Google Sheets as a service account, a robot Google identity with its own email. You create it once, paste its key here, and then share any spreadsheet you want the app to use with that email, exactly like sharing with a colleague. The same key works for the Google Docs Tabs app. The key is stored in this app's .fused/data folder and never packed or shared.
- Open Google Cloud Console → Google Sheets API and click Enable. For comments, also enable the Google Drive API.
- Go to IAM & Admin → Service accounts → Create service account (any name; no roles needed) → Done. Already have one for Google Docs Tabs? Reuse it.
- Open the account → Keys → Add key → Create new key → JSON. A key file downloads.
- Paste the contents of that file below.
Spreadsheet
Saved spreadsheets. Every sheet you load is remembered; click a name to switch, ✎ to rename, × to forget. Bots can refer to a spreadsheet by its name.
The spreadsheet must be shared with as an Editor.
Data
Write to the sheet
This draft is too long to keep in the page link; it will be lost on reload.
Styling
Format cells in the sheet itself. Empty fields are left as they are. Colors take hex (#ff0000) or names (red, lightblue, none).
Comments on the whole spreadsheet (read from the Google Drive API). Google does not say which cell a comment is on, so the quoted text is shown when available.
