ABSTRACT:
We conducted a randomised controlled trial of Drug X in 450 diabetic patients.
After 12 weeks, serum CRP levels decreased by 30% (p<0.001, 95% CI 25-35%).
Secondary endpoints showed a 15% reduction in IL-6 levels (p=0.03).
No serious adverse events were recorded.

CLAIMS:
- Drug X reduces CRP by 30% in diabetic patients (confidence: 0.90)
- Drug X reduces IL-6 by 15% in diabetic patients (confidence: 0.75)
- Drug X has no serious adverse events in diabetic patients (confidence: 0.80)
