API Keys

Vaani uses OpenAI for transcription and Anthropic for text enhancement. Your keys are stored securely in macOS Keychain.

Microphone

Select your microphone and test it to make sure Vaani can hear you.

Hotkey

This is the key you hold down to record. Release it to stop and transcribe.

Permissions

Vaani needs these macOS permissions to work. Grant them in System Settings if prompted.
