GMAT Py is a separately maintained derivative with changes to packaging,
engine initialization, bindings and selected numerical routines. Changed files carry
modification notices. No endorsement by NASA, JPL or other providers is implied.

Applicable retained source credits include Thinking Systems, Inc., Schafer Corp.,
and Emergent Space Technologies, Inc.; their original notices remain in source.

GMAT incorporates NASA/JPL NAIF CSPICE; its code is statically linked into
the engine. See licenses/NAIF-CSPICE.txt for the separate terms and disclaimer,
and licenses/F2C.txt for embedded Netlib-origin runtime notices. SWIG generated
wrapper support is covered by licenses/SWIG.txt, not by SWIG's tool GPL license.

Scientific inputs have distinct sources and terms. Apache-2.0 describes GMAT
and project code, not a blanket license for CSPICE or third-party data. The
optional archive-wide SPDX expression is omitted for this mixed distribution.
See LICENSES.md, licenses/CODE_MANIFEST.json and licenses/DATA_MANIFEST.json for exact
hashes, provenance evidence, scientific changes, exclusions and owner release actions.
Unmodified NAIF kernels retain their embedded descriptions and provider notices.

Optional AGI/CSSI weather files, Schatten predictions and marini.dat are excluded
from the wheel and source archive. Their exclusion does not change the constants
used by the propagation convenience API. File-based weather requires user inputs.

Native platform libraries (glibc and the C++ runtime) are supplied by the
host operating system. The legacy SVN data updater and Xerces are excluded.

Gravity numerical-data credits and reuse assessments: licenses/GRAVITY-DATA.txt.
Native DE405 scientific source and independent reconstruction:
licenses/JPL-EPHEMERIS-NUMERIC.txt. NASA ICRF values/grid and the March 2026 Earth
PCK snapshot are retained. ERFA-derived 1980 nutation coefficients and optional
offline ERFA generation preserve its BSD notice in licenses/ERFA.txt. Original model citations and separate data
reuse bases remain attached; no new Apache-only license is asserted for them.
