# FindBPM Tempo Planner

Convert a BPM estimate to beat, subdivision, and bar lengths. Compare two BPM readings with half-time and double-time interpretations. No audio upload or network access is performed by this CLI.

```bash
pip install findbpm-tempo-planner
findbpm-plan timing 128 --beats-per-bar 4
findbpm-plan compare 120 240
```

Start a rehearsal note with an estimated pulse, then tap along and check whether the felt beat is half or double the displayed number. A browser-based [find bpm](https://findbpm.net/) analysis can provide an initial tempo and key estimate. Verify both by ear before using the numbers for a performance or transition.

This package computes timing from supplied BPM values; it does not analyze an audio file.
