**media-widget** is a lightweight miniplayer for Windows that shows the currently playing media and offers taskbar-based playback control. It works with media running in browsers or native media apps using the Windows Global System Media Transport Controls.

## Features

- Now-playing widget with album art, title, and artist.
- Play/Pause/Next/Previous media from a floating widget or system tray.
- Uses native Windows media session APIs (`winrt`).
- Minimal UI with rounded corners, transparency, and drag-to-move support.

## Requirements

- Windows 10/11
- Python 3.9

## Installation

```bash
pip install media-widget
