# X-Bone

X-Bone is a reusable host core for plugin-based systems. An application builds on it and adds its own domain, while X-Bone provides the services every plugin host needs.

## Scope

- Plugin tiers under one manifest and one contract: WebAssembly plugins inside the host's loop, local processes, and remote services.
- Authenticated plugin sessions, with capabilities denied by default and granted by the operator.
- A host-owned scheduler with systemd-style timers, and jobs that persist across restarts.
- An event bus that uses in-memory channels wherever no network is involved.

## Status

Early development. The design is being written as a general plugin-architecture specification, and this package has no usable API yet.
