Website OAuth
The extension opens mdtero.com/auth for OAuth sign-in and receives the token through the trusted website bridge.
Add your own Elsevier API key to let the extension fetch Article Retrieval XML directly from supported ScienceDirect pages.
Stored only in this browser. Used for Elsevier XML capture before backend fallback.
`tabs` lets the extension reuse or open supported paper pages for local capture.
`storage` keeps your Mdtero token, preferences, and task history on this device.
Browser capture reuses the active tab only when you ask Mdtero to parse the current paper page.
Host permissions stay limited to Mdtero Account, supported scholarly pages, and files you choose to upload.
Downloads from your history are always free.
