    bridge-check guard, a general clean-up, and the test suite that preceded the
    one in tests/ -- most of which is still in the code.

        in any way needed.

        I, Jason Allen, agree that my contributions to pyjab may be

Where a contribution has been written again from its behaviour rather than kept
as it was, the original author is still credited above and the feature is still
theirs; the rewrite changes the wording of the code, not who thought of it.  The
reason for each rewrite is in the commit that made it.
