# verity

**Push any folder to your AI web app with one command. Ghost-type the task. Poll until the answer lands.**

Built for CTF players and anyone who wants a terminal bridge to their own AI assistant.

```bash
pip install verity-cli
```

That's it — no config, no URL, no signup. The verity command links itself to the ops
server on first run and registers your laptop automatically.

## quickstart

```bash
cd my-challenge-folder
verity -s -a        # push all files of this folder to the web app
verity -s -p        # ghost-type a prompt — keys are INVISIBLE, end with a lone line: ///
verity -st          # poll: installing...... -> downloading... -> result files land here
```

After `verity -st` finishes you get a `verity-xxxx/` folder with:

- `flag.txt` — the raw answer / flag
- `solve.py` — the solution script
- `summary.txt` — what the AI did

## all commands

| command | what it does |
|---|---|
| `verity -s -a` | push all files of the current folder to the web app |
| `verity -s -p` | ghost-type a prompt (completely invisible input, send with a lone `///` line) |
| `verity -s -h` | push the folder to the Discord team bridge |
| `verity -st` | poll task status — `installing......` then `downloading...` |
| `verity -st -h` | check team pushes + submissions from the Discord bridge |
| `verity -d` | completely remove verity from this machine |
| `verity --help` | show help |

## points at another server?

The package ships with the ops server baked in. If you run your own:

```bash
export PYTHOM_SERVER=https://your-server.example.org   # windows: set PYTHOM_SERVER=...
```

## uninstall

```bash
verity -d               # wipes config + registered device + launcher
pip uninstall verity-cli    # removes the package itself
```

## requirements

- Python 3.8+ — standard library only, zero dependencies, works on Windows / Linux / macOS
