Where should your bot live? Pick one or both.

Sets up chat only. You can add Telegram or Discord later from the chat settings.

Follow the steps for each platform, then paste the token and test it.

Open Telegram and search for @BotFather (the official bot with a blue check).
Send the message /newbot.
Type a display name for your bot (you can change it later).
Type a username ending in bot, for example my_helper_bot.
BotFather replies with a token that looks like 123456789:AAH8... - tap it to copy.

Open the Discord Developer Portal and sign in.
Click New Application, give it a name, and create it.
In the left menu, open Bot.
Scroll to Privileged Gateway Intents and turn ON MESSAGE CONTENT INTENT, then save.
At the top of the Bot page, click Reset Token and copy the token it shows (it is only shown once).
To invite the bot to a server later: open OAuth2, then URL Generator, tick the bot scope, and under permissions tick Send Messages and Read Message History. Open the generated URL and pick your server. (After a successful test below, a ready-made invite link appears here.)
