Confirm shipping details before submitting an order for fulfillment. Shoppers review their cart contents, enter a shipping address, and choose a delivery speed before the order total is calculated and the payment step becomes available.
The checkout flow validates the shipping address against the postal carrier's service area before allowing the shopper to continue to payment. Orders with an unrecognized postal code are routed back to the address form with an inline warning message.
Once payment succeeds, the checkout flow generates an order confirmation number and emails a receipt summarizing the cart line items, shipping fee, and estimated delivery window.
