line_from_2points — 3D geometry op

Data kinds: pointsprimitive

Call: import match3d; match3d.line_from_2points(a, b) (or ops3d.get("line_from_2points"))

Usage

Two points → a line (a point on it and a unit direction). Two coordinates fix the line (2-D and 3-D alike).

References (sample data, literature)

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
