mesh_to_voxel — 3D transform op

Data kinds: meshvoxel

Call: import match3d; match3d.mesh_to_voxel(vertices, faces, size, bounds=None, samples=40000, device='cpu', smooth=0.8) (or ops3d.get("mesh_to_voxel"))

GPU: this op has a GPU path (device="cuda")

Usage

Mesh (vertices + faces) → a density voxel volume. Uniform sampling on the faces → splat (it connects the mesh row to every method).

References (sample data, literature)

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
