voxel_to_mips — 3D transform op

Data kinds: voxelimages

Call: import match3d; match3d.voxel_to_mips(vol) (or ops3d.get("voxel_to_mips"))

Usage

3-D → maximum-intensity projections along the three orthogonal directions. The entry point for applying 2-D methods (e.g. accel's 2-D NCC).

References (sample data, literature)

• Sample-data catalog (download URLs / licences) — 2-D uses skimage.data (BSD/public domain) plus synthetic images; 3-D lists download URLs for real data sources (Stanford, PDS, …).

• Operator provenance and references — the sources of the research/methods this op family came from.
