Usage

An edge-direction map using the Robinson compass operator. Selects the maximum convolution response among 8 directions (a total of 8 kernels, `_ROBINSON[0]/_ROBINSON[1]` each rotated by 45 degrees), and returns that kernel's index normalized to 0-1. a and b are unused.
