edges op• Data kinds: image → image
• Call: fullseye.apply(img, "xwt_directional_detail", a=0.5, b=0.5) (the 2-D model is one image plus two scalar knobs a,b∈[0,1])

*The figure is the real output on a synthetic 128×128 input. Left: input, right: output (a non-image return value is shown as the value itself).*
Directional edge detection. Selects one of the horizontal (cH), vertical (cV), or diagonal (cD) detail subbands from a single-level `db2 decomposition, normalizes its absolute value, then block-upsamples it back to the original resolution (2x2 replication via kron`) and returns it.

`b でどの方向を見るか選ぶ(min(2,int(b*3)) で cH→cV→cD の 3 択)。a` は未使用。サブバンドは元画像の半分の解像度なのでブロック状に拡大されることに注意(滑らかな拡大ではない)。

• The canonical algorithm (author, year) and its uses are named in the family usage guide above.
The program below has been verified to run (same input as the figure). In Studio's help this block becomes buttons that load and run it on the spot.
