cover_ratio_grade — SEGMENTATION plant op

• Data kinds: signal → table

• Call: import fullseye as fs; fs.ledger.cover_ratio_grade(fraction, *, edges: 'Sequence[float]' = (0.05, 0.25, 0.5)) -> 'Dict[str, object]' (to call the implementation directly, import cropweed; cropweed.cover_ratio_grade(fraction, *, edges: 'Sequence[float]' = (0.05, 0.25, 0.5)) -> 'Dict[str, object]'; from the registry, opssegmentation.get("cover_ratio_grade"))

Usage

Split a cover fraction (area share 0..1) into grades 0..len(edges) at declared edges edges.

Grade k means edges[k−1] <= f < edges[k] (a value exactly on an edge goes to the upper grade). The default edges (0.05, 0.25, 0.50) are borrowed from the cover classes of vegetation surveys (Braun-Blanquet's 5 % / 25 % / 50 %) and give 4 grades (0 low / 1 moderate / 2 high / 3 severe). They are not fitted to the distribution of any annotation. fraction is a scalar or a 1-D array. Returns: grade (int array), edges, margin (distance to the nearest edge; smaller = more fragile judgement), n_grades, counts (number per grade). Empty input, non-finite values, values outside [0, 1] and edges that are not strictly increasing inside (0, 1) raise ValueError.
