उपयोग

triangle method (Zack–Rogers–Latt 1977): peak (b_p, h_p) और लंबी tail वाले छोर की bin (b_e, 0) को जोड़ने वाली line से बीच की bin (b, h_b) तक की sign वाली लंबवत दूरी जिस bin पर अधिकतम है, वही threshold है (line के नीचे धनात्मक)। लौटाता है: threshold (उस bin का केंद्र), mask = image > threshold, bin, distance (हर bin की दूरी, सीमा के बाहर nan)। छोर की ऊँचाई 0 और tail का पक्ष चुनने का तरीका skimage / ImageJ जैसी ही परिपाटी है (मूल स्रोत की पुष्टि बाकी)।
