Plot mode coverage (conformance fixture)

mathmeta/conformancedifficulty 1/5#conformance#plot#coverage

Synthetic coverage for the plot renderer.

Parametric (a Lissajous curve, equal-aspect trajectory)

-1.5 -1 -0.5 0.5 1 1.5 -1 -0.5 0.5 1 t=0 x y

Polar (a three-petal rose)

-2 -1 1 2 -1.5 -1 -0.5 0.5 1 1.5 x y

Function with reference lines and custom labels

-3 -2 -1 1 2 3 -1 -0.5 0.5 1 P u \tanh u

Solution

Not a real problem: this fixture exists so the conformance corpus exercises the parametric
and polar plot modes (and the grid / reference-line / label directives) that the curated
examples do not otherwise reach, giving the JS plot renderer a full parity target.
