# tilion-fortress

Install and drive the **Fortress** stealth Chromium engine, a recompiled Chromium that corrects its own fingerprint in C++ (canvas, WebGL, WebGPU, audio, fonts, navigator, and more) and exposes raw CDP, a drop-in for Playwright and Puppeteer. No build, no source.

```bash
pip install tilion-fortress
```

On first use it downloads the prebuilt Fortress binary for your platform from the official GitHub Release (verified by SHA-256) and caches it. No Chromium source, no compilation.

## Unlock in one command

Fortress is free for developers. `tilion-fortress activate` runs a ten-second browser sign-in and saves your key to `~/.tilion/license.jwt`, verified offline after that. Skip it and Fortress still runs on the public first-generation engine after one notice; it never blocks.

```bash
tilion-fortress activate              # or: tilion-fortress activate --headless   (SSH / remote)
tilion-fortress activate --token X    # CI / agents: save a key with no browser
```

## Drive it

```python
from tillion_fortress import Fortress
with Fortress() as f:                        # launches headless + a CDP endpoint
    print(f.cdp_url)                          # ws://127.0.0.1:<port>/devtools/browser/...
    from playwright.sync_api import sync_playwright
    with sync_playwright() as p:
        browser = p.chromium.connect_over_cdp(f.cdp_url)
        page = browser.new_page()
        page.goto("https://abrahamjuliot.github.io/creepjs/")
```

Custom persona / extra flags:

```python
Fortress(persona={"timezone": "America/Chicago", "languages": "en-GB,en"},
         extra_args=["--window-size=1280,800"])
```

## Platforms

Native prebuilt binaries are auto-fetched and SHA-256 verified for **Linux x64, Linux arm64, Linux x86, Linux armhf, Windows x64, and macOS arm64**. Run `tilion-fortress get list` to see them all, or `tilion-fortress get <platform>` to fetch one. Docker (`docker run --rm -p 9222:9222 ...`) is an option for any OS or CI.

## CLI

```bash
tilion-fortress activate            # unlock the v3 engine
tilion-fortress license status      # tier and expiry
tilion-fortress license refresh     # renew before expiry
tilion-fortress get [platform]      # download a build ('tilion-fortress get list' shows all)
tilion-fortress                     # launch the engine and print the CDP endpoint
```

Installing the `tilion` framework package adds the shorter `tilion` command (`tilion activate`, `tilion get`, `tilion mcp`).
