The file is the single-header amalgamation of the 'mio' memory-mapping
library, added to this project in 2020. It differs slightly from the current
upstream file (in its Windows file-opening code, its exception guards, and
by defining NOMINMAX and NOGDI before including <windows.h>). All copyright

Bruker's 'timsdata' library (not included)
===========================================

opentimsr can optionally use Bruker's proprietary 'timsdata' library
(libtimsdata.so on Linux, timsdata.dll on Windows) for its conversions.
This library is owned by Bruker, is not part of opentimsr, and is not
distributed with it. download_bruker_proprietary_code() downloads it only
when a user calls it explicitly, from
https://github.com/MatteoLacki/opentims_bruker_bridge, subject to the license
terms stated there. opentimsr is fully functional without it, using its
built-in open-source converters.
