Description
===========

Request to create a new CCD commitment.

Usage
=====

   oci ccd-offers ccd-commitments ccd-commitment create [OPTIONS]

Required Parameters
===================

--ccd-offer-id [text]

CCD offer OCID. If you’re trying to commit against the CCD offer,
ensure that the CCD offer’s *lifecycleDetails* field value is Current
or Scheduled. You can only sign up for a current or scheduled CCD
offer, but not for any canceled, or ended CCD offer.

--compartment-id, -c [text]

The compartment OCID where you want to create the CCD commitment. Must
be the root compartment OCID of a parent tenancy (if part of an
organization), or a standalone tenancy to which the subscription is
associated.

--display-name [text]

The CCD commitment name. Ensure the name is unique across subscription
IDs. Avoid entering confidential information.

--quantity [integer]

The hourly quantity that the customer is committing to a CCD offer’s
main SKU. For FLEX offers, this quantity must equal the CCD offer’s
minQuantity and maxQuantity when both are provided. For example, if
the quantity is 1000, then you are committing to a 1000 usage quantity
value per hour.

--subscription-id [text]

The subscription OCID value the CCD offer is applicable to.

--time-ccd-commitment-starts [datetime]

The inclusive date and time when the CCD commitment will be effective.
The date and time must be rounded up to the exact hour, and must be in
the future. The format is defined by RFC 3339. For example, if you
want to commit to a CCD on 2025-06-01 12:00:00, you should create a
request any time before 2025-06-01 12:00:00. You can only create CCD
for a Scheduled or Current CCD offer.

Optional Parameters
===================

--defined-tags [complex type]

Defined tags for this resource. Each key is predefined and scoped to a
namespace. For more information, see Resource Tags.

Example:

   {"Operations": {"CostCenter": "42"}}

This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The value can
be provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file
using the file://path/to/file syntax.

The "--generate-param-json-input" option can be used to generate an
example of the JSON which must be provided. We recommend storing this
example in a file, modifying it as needed and then passing it back in
via the file:// syntax.

--filler-tenancy-id [text]

The tenancy OCID you want to apply filler usage to.

--freeform-tags [complex type]

Free-form tags for this resource. Each tag is a simple key-value pair
with no predefined name, type, or namespace. For more information, see
Resource Tags.

Example:

   {"Department": "Finance"}

This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The value can
be provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file
using the file://path/to/file syntax.

The "--generate-param-json-input" option can be used to generate an
example of the JSON which must be provided. We recommend storing this
example in a file, modifying it as needed and then passing it back in
via the file:// syntax.

--from-json [text]

Provide input to this command as a JSON document from a file using the
file://path-to/file syntax.

The "--generate-full-command-json-input" option can be used to
generate a sample json file to be used with this command option. The
key names are pre-populated and match the command option names
(converted to camelCase format, e.g. compartment-id –> compartmentId),
while the values of the keys need to be populated by the user before
using the sample file as an input to this command. For any command
option that accepts multiple values, the value of the key can be a
JSON array.

Options can still be provided on the command line. If an option exists
in both the JSON document and the command line then the command line
specified value will be used.

For examples on usage of this option, please see our “using CLI with
advanced JSON options” link: https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/iaas/Conte
nt/API/SDKDocs/cliusing.htm#AdvancedJSONOptions

--max-wait-seconds [integer]

The maximum time to wait for the resource to reach the lifecycle state
defined by "--wait-for-state". Defaults to 1200 seconds.

--secondary-skus [complex type]

The bundled SKUs selected for this commitment. Supply *quantity* only
for components whose offer quantity rule is *CUSTOMER_SELECTED*.

This option is a JSON list with items of type SecondarySkus. For
documentation on SecondarySkus please see our API reference:
https://docs.oracle.com/en-
us/iaas/api/#/en/ccdcommitments/20240601/datatypes/SecondarySkus. This
is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The value can be
provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file using
the file://path/to/file syntax.

The "--generate-param-json-input" option can be used to generate an
example of the JSON which must be provided. We recommend storing this
example in a file, modifying it as needed and then passing it back in
via the file:// syntax.

--time-ccd-commitment-ends [datetime]

The exclusive time the CCD commitment ends. The time gets computed
using *timeCcdCommitmentStarts* from the *ccdCommitment*, and the
minimum commitment term associated with *CcdOffer*. The default value
is set as null at the time of CCD commitment creation.

   The following datetime formats are supported:

UTC with microseconds
---------------------

   Format: YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss.ssssssTZD
   Example: 2017-09-15T20:30:00.123456Z

--usage-eligibility [complex type]

This is a complex type whose value must be valid JSON. The value can
be provided as a string on the command line or passed in as a file
using the file://path/to/file syntax.

The "--generate-param-json-input" option can be used to generate an
example of the JSON which must be provided. We recommend storing this
example in a file, modifying it as needed and then passing it back in
via the file:// syntax.

--wait-for-state [text]

This operation creates, modifies or deletes a resource that has a
defined lifecycle state. Specify this option to perform the action and
then wait until the resource reaches a given lifecycle state. Multiple
states can be specified, returning on the first state. If timeout is
reached, a return code of 2 is returned. For any other error, a return
code of 1 is returned.

Accepted values are:

   ACTIVE

--wait-interval-seconds [integer]

Check every "--wait-interval-seconds" to see whether the resource has
reached the lifecycle state defined by "--wait-for-state". Defaults to
30 seconds.

parameters with your own.

Please note this sample will only work in the POSIX-compliant bash-
like shell. You need to set up the OCI configuration and appropriate
security policies before trying the examples.
