EXAMINATION: CHEST (PORTABLE AP)
INDICATION: ___ year old woman with L chest tube and multiple rib fractures
s/p trauma // pls eval interval change pls eval interval change

IMPRESSION:

Compared to chest radiographs ___ through ___ at 15:56.

ET tube, right PIC line, are in standard placements. Feeding tube passes into
the stomach and out of view. No pneumothorax. Severe cardiomegaly stable. Left
lower lobe atelectasis is severe, new since ___, unchanged since ___. There is
no progressive increase in small to moderate left pleural effusion or the left
extrapleural hematoma. Increasing consolidation in the right lower lung should
be considered pneumonia, although it could be asymmetric edema and atelectasis
since mild pulmonary edema is evident, at least in the left midlung.
