REASON FOR EXAMINATION: Dyspnea.

AP radiograph of the chest was reviewed in comparison to ___ and ___.

Small bilateral pleural effusions are present. Nodular opacities projecting over the left lower lung and unclear if represent pulmonary nodule or consolidation. Mediastinum is widened. There are perihilar interstitial opacities concerning for interval development of interstitial pulmonary edema, mild. Hiatal hernia is better appreciated on the previous PA and lateral view, large in size. If not available, chest CT might be considered. Correlation with remote prior studies are recommended.
