REASON FOR EXAM: ___-year-old, intubated with possible TRALI vs. ARDS vs. pneumonia, has history of lymphoma.
SINGLE FRONTAL VIEW OF THE CHEST
Comparison is made with prior study PET-CT ___.

Extensive bilateral dense consolidations are new from prior study, they can represent TRALI or ARDS. Severe extensive pneumonia is in the radiologic differential diagnosis. Patient has known fibrosis in the right lower lobe. If any, there is a small right pleural effusion. ET tube is in a standard position. NG tube tip is out of view below the diaphragm. Right PICC tip is in the cavoatrial junction. Pacemaker leads are in a standard position. The sternal wires are aligned. There is mild cardiomegaly.
