FINAL REPORT
PORTABLE AP CHEST FILM ___ AT 12:41

CLINICAL INDICATION: Evaluate for left pneumothorax status post chest tube
 removal.

Comparison to prior study of ___ at 17:19.

Portable AP upright chest from ___ at 12:41 is submitted.

 IMPRESSION:

 1. Interval improvement in mild pulmonary edema. There is now a very small left apical pneumothorax. Left-sided pacer and right internal jugular central line remain unchanged. There are bibasilar patchy opacities and associated pleural effusions likely representing atelectasis, although bibasilar pneumonia could also have this appearance. Cardiac and mediastinal contours are stable status post median sternotomy with aortic valve replacement. There has been interval removal of the left chest tube. A more elliptical opacity in the right mid lung likely represents fluid loculated within the minor fissure. The patient's nurse, ___, was notified of the results of this examination by phone on ___ at 2:30 p.m. at the time of discovery.
