namdtools.read.scan_log(source, drop_etitle=True, **kwargs)[source]

Scan NAMD log file.

Parameters:

  • source (str) – Name of NAMD log file.

  • drop_etitle (bool) – Drop the first column of the log file, which is the title of the energy term. (Default: True).

  • **kwargs – Additional keyword arguments passed to fpathlib.ext.polars.scan_txt().

Return type:

DataFrame
