# langchain-gaip

LangChain tools for [GAIP](https://www.gaipagents.com). They are free and need no API key.

| Tool | Use it when |
|------|-------------|
| `gaip_check` | you need to know whether an AI agent, MCP server or API works or has changed, e.g. before adding or paying it; or whether your bot may fetch a site |
| `gaip_watch` | you want an agent or MCP server's latest dated changes, or a signed webhook when it changes |
| `gaip_diagnose` | an agent, MCP or API call failed and you want the cause and the fix |
| `gaip_verify` | you need to check that a service delivered what was promised, or that cited pages contain the quoted text |

```bash
pip install langchain-gaip
```

```python
from langchain_gaip import get_tools
tools = get_tools()          # gaip_check, gaip_watch, gaip_diagnose, gaip_verify
# pass `tools` to any LangChain or LangGraph agent, or call one directly:
print(tools[0].invoke({"url": "https://www.gaipagents.com/mcp"}))
```

Each tool calls GAIP's public MCP endpoint (`https://www.gaipagents.com/mcp`) and returns its JSON answer as a
string. Inputs must be public and non-personal. A check is a point-in-time observation, not an endorsement.

If you already use `langchain-mcp-adapters`, you can connect to the same endpoint directly instead.
