Classes Ax2QG
and Ax3QG
implement a WGS84 biaxial respectively EGM2008 triaxial reference
ellipsoid and bilinear interpolation of quasi-geoid height N
and cartesian X, Y, Z from
self-contained, 1-degree, whole Earth grids.
Class Ax5QG
--a sub-class of Ax3QG-- is based on 5 bivariate spline interpolations of
rectangular grids from SciPy and requires both
scipy and numpy to be installed.
Each class provides a forward method to transform
geodetic lat-, longitude and ellipsoidal height to cartesian X, Y, Z and
orthometric height and a reverse method for converting
cartesian to geodetic coordinates and orthometric to ellipsoidal
height.
