Ask as a separate lens

The counter-proposal: a dedicated Ask entry in the mac.app's left sidebar (and a matching tab in the browser report). A destination page with room to breathe — the §5a aligned claims-and-evidence layout — at the cost of leaving the curation surface. §4 currently rules this out ("never a separate window, page, or destination"); this mock exists to test that line with pixels rather than by assertion.

Commentary — placement B

What this buys: a real page. The §5a aligned layout (claims left, evidence right — the only presentation that preserved critical engagement in the N=372 study) fits naturally; long answers, the three-way abstention coaching, and any future history all have room. Framing is unambiguous — you are in ask mode, so model prose never sits adjacent to the researcher's own report text.
