Clock sync — recorder time minus source timestamp

Milliseconds between recorder log time and the topic's own source timestamp (header.stamp or an embedded clock). Near zero and flat means the clocks agree; drifting away means they don't. Topics without a source timestamp aren't shown here.

Message cadence — gap since previous message

Time between consecutive messages on the same topic (recorder clock). Dashed line is that topic's median period.

within 3× median period >3× median period (possible drop/delay)

Message timeline — recorder clock vs. source clock

Each topic gets two rows: top is recorder time, bottom is the source clock for the same messages. A shift between rows is a clock offset; a growing shift is drift. Color fades toward red where gaps between messages grow — a blank stretch is a real gap.

recorder clock, healthy cadence source clock, healthy cadence gap ≥ 3× median period
