Introduction

imo-vmdb imports, normalizes, and enriches visual meteor observation data from the Visual Meteor Database (VMDB). Enriched observations can be accessed via a REST API, CSV export, direct database connection, or the Python API (imo_vmdb, imo_vmdb.server).

The tool can be used in two ways:

• Docker: run the web-based control panel without any local Python installation — see Setup.

• Python package: install via pip and use the command-line interface — see Setup.
