Redistribution and Modification License (RAML)
Version 1.0

Copyright (c) 2026 Jack

1. DEFINITIONS

"Software" means the source code, binaries, documentation, examples,
and other materials distributed as part of the software project
licensed under this license.

"Original Author" means the copyright holder identified above.

"Redistribution" means publishing, distributing, sublicensing,
re-hosting, selling, or otherwise making the Software, or a modified
version of the Software, available to third parties as a software
package, library, project, or substantially equivalent product.

"Material Modification" means a modification that makes meaningful
functional, architectural, behavioral, or feature-level changes to
the Software.

The following changes alone do NOT qualify as Material Modifications:

- renaming the Software or project;
- changing package names or version numbers;
- changing formatting or whitespace;
- changing comments or documentation;
- changing logos, branding, or metadata;
- reorganizing files without meaningful functional changes;
- making trivial refactors;
- making minor cosmetic changes;
- making changes whose primary purpose is to avoid the redistribution
  requirements of this license.

2. PERMISSION TO USE

Permission is granted to any person obtaining a copy of the Software
to use and run the Software for personal, educational, research,
commercial, or other lawful purposes.

The Software may be used as a library, dependency, component, or tool
inside another project.

An application or project that merely uses the Software as a
dependency is not considered a Redistribution of the Software itself
under this license.

3. PERMISSION TO MODIFY

Permission is granted to inspect, study, modify, and create private
modified versions of the Software.

Modified versions may be used privately without any requirement to
publish them.

4. REDISTRIBUTION OF THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE

You may not redistribute the Software as your own independent package,
library, project, or substantially equivalent product if it is
unchanged or only superficially modified.

You may direct users to the official Software distribution instead.

This restriction does not prevent normal dependency installation,
package caching, deployment, containerization, application bundling,
or other technical distribution reasonably necessary to use the
Software as part of a larger application.

5. REDISTRIBUTION OF MODIFIED VERSIONS

You may redistribute a modified version of the Software only if:

a. the redistributed version contains Material Modifications;

b. the redistributed version clearly states that it is based on the
   original Software;

c. the redistributed version provides clear credit to the Original
   Author;

d. the redistributed version includes a copy of this license or a
   clear reference to the license applying to the original Software;

e. the redistributed version clearly identifies that it is modified
   and is not the official version of the original Software; and

f. you do not falsely claim authorship of the original Software.

6. REQUIRED ATTRIBUTION

A redistributed modified version must include attribution that is
reasonably visible to developers or recipients.

The attribution must include, at minimum:

    Based on Determine by Jack.

Equivalent wording is permitted provided that it clearly identifies
the original project and Original Author.

Attribution may appear in documentation, an About page, source code,
package metadata, credits, or another reasonably visible location.

7. FORKS AND PROJECT IDENTITY

Modified redistributions may use a different project or package name.

A redistributed version must not:

- claim to be the official Determine project;
- imply endorsement by the Original Author without permission;
- use branding in a way that would reasonably cause users to believe
  the redistributed version is the official release.

8. LARGER WORKS

You may create and distribute applications, games, services, websites,
tools, or other larger works that use the Software.

Such larger works do not need to be licensed under RAML solely because
they use the Software.

If the larger work includes a modified copy of the Software itself,
the requirements in Sections 5 and 6 apply to that modified copy.

9. NO TRADEMARK GRANT

This license grants copyright permissions only.

It does not grant trademark rights or permission to falsely represent
a modified project as the official Determine project.

10. TERMINATION

Your rights under this license terminate automatically if you
materially violate its terms.

If the violation is corrected within 30 days after you become aware
of it, your rights under this license are automatically reinstated
unless the Original Author has already obtained a final judgment
regarding that violation.

11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND
NONINFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR OR COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE
FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF
CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION
WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
