External System Integrations

From the App to Other Systems

Nautobot TRAX does not require outbound API calls to external systems for core model operation.

From Other Systems to the App

External systems can interact with Nautobot TRAX through Nautobot's authentication and API framework, subject to your deployment's RBAC and API token policies.

Nautobot REST API endpoints

TRAX models are exposed through Nautobot plugin API routes under the Nautobot API hierarchy.

Example pattern:

• /api/plugins/nautobot-trax/

Use your standard Nautobot API auth workflow (token/session), then inspect available endpoints from the API root in your environment.
