Privacy Policy

Effective: January 1, 2026 — Upstream Intelligence, Inc.

1. What we collect

When you request a free sample, buy a pack, submit an enterprise inquiry, or contact us, we collect your email address, role, and any optional information you provide (use case, company name). We use this solely to fulfill or evaluate the request, communicate product updates, and understand who is building with our data.

We do not collect any Protected Health Information (PHI), raw claims, customer claim files, or clinical free text for Upstream Data sample, pack, or enterprise access. The artifacts are entirely synthetic — no real patient data exists in the synthesis system.

2. How we use it

  • Send sample, order, inquiry, and product updates (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • Respond to inquiries and support requests
  • Improve our product based on use-case patterns
  • Evaluate and fulfill sample, paid-pack, and enterprise access requests

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use Resend for transactional email delivery. We may share anonymized, aggregate usage data (never personal information) to describe our user base publicly.

4. Retention and deletion

We retain sample, order, and enterprise inquiry data while needed to fulfill requests and maintain required operational records. To request deletion, email privacy@upstream.cx.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses PostHog for product analytics. PostHog collects anonymized usage data (page views, clicks) to help us improve the site. No cookies are used for advertising. You can opt out by enabling Do Not Track in your browser.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access to any personal data is restricted to personnel who need it to perform their job. For our security practices, see the Security page.
