In the supplied two-dimensional driven-sheet compressible resistive-MHD model, imposing aligned 20% sinusoidal inflow density modulation changes the time-integrated core Ohmic-dissipation diagnostic by at most 5% relative to smooth inflow, for each magnetic diffusivity eta in {0.001, 0.002, 0.004}, at fixed kinematic viscosity nu=0.002 over t in [0,2]. This finite-domain conclusion must persist under spatial and temporal refinement; numerical uncertainty cannot be treated as evidence of agreement.
