# Sheru

**Your machine's watchdog. Chat with your PC, fully offline.**

Sheru is a local agent that monitors your machine — hardware, network, connected devices — and lets you talk to it. Everything runs on your computer. No cloud. No telemetry. No data leaving your machine.

Named after a loyal Bangla watchdog.

---

## Status

🚧 **Pre-alpha.** This is a placeholder release. v0.1 ships when Phase 1 is ready.

Follow development at [github.com/AivionLabs/sheru](https://github.com/AivionLabs/sheru).

---

## What it will do

- Live system metrics: CPU, memory, disk, network, sensors, processes
- Network topology: your router, connected devices, active connections
- Local LLM chat: ask your PC questions, get answers from on-device models
- Zero telemetry, zero cloud calls — everything stays on your machine

---

## Install (when ready)

```bash
