Build, apply and prove one show

atoo build. Nothing here reaches a console.

not set
Named once in ~/.atoo.config [conventions]
(or per run with --conventions) and reused by every show.
A bundle already built opens on the file its plan.json
records, so the tile shows what built this show.
Editable here like step 03 — but an edit changes the next build
of every other show that names it too. If it is true of this show only,
it belongs in step 03 Instructions.
input.csv · in the bundle
One row per physical input, which is why a name lives here and
not on a strip: apply writes the name, colour and icon to the
socket, and the strip inherits them. Editable rows only — no
plan columns. Save writes the bundle's input.csv, changing only
the rows you changed; the plan then reads Stale until it is rebuilt.
Step 04 shows these same rows beside the plan: an edit made there is
an edit made here, unsaved until Save.
Order is the band's own number for each input; it does
not set the desk channel. Skip keeps a row in the file
and leaves it out of the next build. Drag a row by its handle, or move
it with ▲ ▼ or Alt+↑/↓; + inserts
a blank row below.

instructions.md · in the bundle · this show only
Only what is true of this show. Where this file is silent, the house
conventions apply in full; where the two disagree, this file wins. Nothing
merges the two texts — the model applies the rule sentence by sentence.

atoo build
No plan yet. Build one above, or open a plan.json with the tile's Change file.
No show bundle open.
A full build resets the desk to initialized and sets everything the plan states, every fader included. It writes only the addresses where the desk differs, as many as the Preview says will change. For a show already on the desk, use Patch. It writes the open bundle's plan.json to the console in the bar; change either there. A plan built for a different WING model is applied if this desk has every socket it patches; one that patches a socket the desk lacks is refused before anything is written.
Stale
Not run
For the setup window: after the build, before doors, not mid-show. Save a console snapshot once the board is patched, and the worst a bad change can cost is a reload. A change starts from the plan this desk's newest write left on it (or plan.json if this bundle has not written to it); the review says which. A change applies to the desk as it is now; a permanent one belongs in the input list or instructions, and a rebuild. A typed change can also edit a strip that is already running — only the fields it names.
Step 1 changed since this preview. Preview again before writing.
Every address a full build of this plan would write that belongs to an object this change does not own. None of these is written, and a confirmed write reads them all before and after as the proof.
--confirm on the command line). It arms a full build, a change and an undo alike; without it nothing reaches the console. A write or an undo spends the tick: the next one needs it again.

Suppressing only hides a finding on this page; the desk is not touched. A suppressed fault that clears and later comes back is shown again, as new. Start clears every suppression.

It's a packaged show on a simulated WING Compact, so you can look at Build, Apply and Watch without a console.
To work on your own show, choose a console address in the bar, or open or create a show.
Before anything touches the desk, Atoo checks the plan against the console it's going to: every socket exists, every stereo pair can be formed, and every value is within the console's range.
It runs again whenever you come back to Apply, or press Re-check. You can skip it under Options, for example to write a plan you've already checked against this desk.
A full build writes every output socket the plan routes something to. Any other socket keeps whatever was patched there before: from an earlier show, an earlier apply, or by hand. That can put a stray signal on a cable you thought was dead.
Turn this on to disconnect those other sockets as well. Name each socket group to clean
and how many sockets it has, for example LCL=8,A=48. Groups you don't name
are left as they are.
The disconnects show in the preview like every other write, and Undo puts them back.
