No edit is real until this compiles. Committing calls dsail_compile again with parent_hash set to the current hash, and this whole widget re-hydrates from that result. Compiler diagnostics refer to the line numbers in the gutter. For a ruleset that is already in your library, the name moves to the new revision — the text it replaced stays reachable through the revision chain, and any approval stays on the hash it was given to.
